Our Pastor

Pastor Tony’s journey into ministry began through his own experience of God’s grace emerging from seasons of brokenness, including struggles with drugs and alcohol. He came to faith alongside people in recovery, became involved in a local church, and first sensed a call to ministry while serving others who were walking similar paths toward healing and new life.

Tony later attended Spring Arbor University, where he continued serving in ministries with people experiencing homelessness and developed a growing passion for preaching, pastoral care, justice, and helping churches respond faithfully to the needs of their communities.

 He went on to attend Princeton Theological Seminary, where he continued to deepen his faith, expand his understanding of God, and prepare for pastoral ministry in the United Methodist Church. Tony also pursued a law degree at Rutgers Law School, believing that legal education could strengthen his ability to understand complex systems, advocate for others, and help the church engage issues of justice, mercy, and community life with greater wisdom.

Tony and his wife, Ashley, are grateful to call Lander home and enjoy exploring Wyoming, spending time outdoors, staying active, and getting to know the people and places that make the community special.

 As pastor of Lander United Methodist Church, Tony is passionate about helping cultivate a church where people from every background can experience belonging, encounter God’s grace, grow in faith, and discover meaningful ways to love and serve their neighbors.
