Since its inception in October of 2016, the Good Sam Emergency food pantry has handed out over 6,300 bags of groceries. The pantry is supplied through food donations made by church, community members, and financial donations.
The pantry is not meant to be a grocery store. Rather, it is a free emergency food pantry for when times are tough and one's income didn't stretch far enough to cover groceries for the month.
"Feed the hungry,
and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out of the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon." Isaiah 58:10 (NLT)
