Good Samaritan Missions

Good Samaritan Emergency Pantry

Since its inception in October of 2016, the Good Sam Emergency food pantry has handed out over 6,300 bags of groceries. The pantry is supplied through food donations made by church, community members, and financial donations.

The pantry is not meant to be a grocery store. Rather, it is a free emergency food pantry for when times are tough and one's income didn't stretch far enough to cover groceries for the month.

"Feed the hungry,

        and help those in trouble.

Then your light will shine out of the darkness,

and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."                                                                                                                      Isaiah 58:10 (NLT)

Pantry FAQs

How often can I visit the pantry? Individuals may visit the pantry a maximum of one (1) time during a calendar month. This is tracked by the pantry.

How many bags of food can I take? Individuals may take a maximum of two (2) bags of food at each visit. We ask that you take what you will use and use what you take.

How do I access the pantry? Individuals will be asked to register/sign in with the pantry during each visit.

Pantry protocol: We ask that individuals take only what they know they will use, leaving enough for others. Pantry volunteers will lend a hand if quantities of certain items are limited.
